International information literacy logo contest: a new logo selected!

Mr Abdul Waheed Khan, UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information, UNESCO awarded the winner of the international Information Literacy Logo Contest, a young Cuban designer named Mr Edgar Luy Perez from Havana the Prize of US$3,000.
PACIFIC SITES INSCRIBED ON WORLD HERITAGE LIST
The outstanding heritage of the Pacific was honoured this month as sites in Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea and New Caledonia were inscribed on the World Heritage List.
